Strategy
To provide prac琀椀cal love and care of
children within a mul琀椀disciplinary
team to ensure that their medical,
psychological and emo琀椀onal needs
are met. We organise community outreaches for children in very
deprived areas, to provide a meal
and basic educa琀椀on and assess
health needs. We o昀昀er assistance,
as appropriate, including Medical
Psychological support alongside
preven琀椀on workshops given to vic琀椀ms of domes琀椀c violence.
We work alongside the HIV/AIDS
clinic to provide health promo琀椀on
and support to those with the HIV
diagnosis. In Colombia, Orphaids
is working in partnership with the
local government, in par琀椀cular with
the Health Department and the
Educa琀椀on Department. The main
method is to provide workshops
on preven琀椀on, sexual health and
moral living in educa琀椀onal establishments, the police academy and
the Military academy.
